This week … revisit the 1990s! This decade marked the beginning of Sarah’s celebrated solo career. In 1992, she debuted her duet, “Amigos Para Siempre” with José Carreras at the Barcelona Olympic Games to a worldwide audience of three billion people. 1993 saw the release of her water-themed album “Dive,” which garnered her first Gold award for exceptional sales in Canada. ‘Fly’ followed in 1995, featuring the pop rock song “A Question of Honour,” which was introduced at the World Boxing Championship match between Germany’s Henry Maske and Graciano Rocchigiani. In 1997, Sarah released her International song “Time to Say Goodbye” with Andrea Bocelli, which was featured on ‘Timeless.’ It became the best-selling single of all time in Germany, selling over 12 million copies globally. In 1998, she premiered her first PBS special ‘Sarah Brightman: In Concert at the Royal Albert Hall” and released ‘A Gala Christmas in Vienna’ on DVD. Sarah’s beloved album ‘Eden’ was released in 1998 and reached #1 on the Billboard Classical Crossover Chart, leading to her first world tour.
