Today is UNESCO’s World Science Day for Peace and Development! Observed every November 10th, this special day highlights the significant role of science in society and the need to engage the wider public in debates on emerging scientific issues. It is celebrated by countries around the world through organized events that highlight the role scientists play in broadening everyone’s understanding of the remarkable, fragile planet we call home. Sarah is proud to be a UNESCO Artist for Peace Ambassador, bringing awareness to their mission and this special day. This year’s theme: “Science for and with Society.”
