45 years ago, Cats made its West End debut and introduced audiences to the magical world of the Jellicle Cats.
Sarah originated the role of Jemima in the original London production in 1981, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, direction by Trevor Nunn, choreography by Gillian Lynne, design by John Napier, and produced by Cameron Mackintosh – a production that would go on to become one of the most celebrated musicals in theatre history.
