To mark the 40th anniversary of The Phantom of the Opera, Sarah Brightman has shared a special video message reflecting on the musical’s extraordinary legacy and its enduring place in theatre history.
Having originated the role of Christine Daaé in the original West End production on 9 October 1986, Sarah shares her heartfelt gratitude to the audiences who have supported the musical over the past four decades, as well as the many talented performers who have brought its beloved characters to life on stages around the world.
