On 17th February at the 2026 Winter Olympics, Japanese figure skater Kaori Sakamoto once again delivered a stunning short program to Time to Say Goodbye.
Skating with power, precision and emotion, her performance brought new dimension to the iconic song made famous by Sarah Brightman and Andrea Bocelli, transforming the music into a powerful moment of artistry on the Olympic stage.
The performance followed her earlier Olympic team event skate to the same music, continuing a deeply expressive interpretation of the piece across the Games and highlighting her remarkable musicality and presence on the ice.
As she takes to the ice for the women’s free skate today, we send Kaori our very best wishes for the final stage of the Olympic competition.
