In July 2016, Sarah was invited to perform at the International STARMUS Science and Arts Festival (Beyond The Horizon – A Tribute to Stephen Hawking) in Tenerife. STARMUS also introduced the milestone award 'Stephen Hawking Medal for Science Communication', an award for those who promote science throughout the arts.
